- Tend to live farm, ranch, open range, or aquaculture animals; may include cattle, sheep, swine, goats, horses/other equines, poultry, rabbits, finfish, shellfish, & bees
- Attend to animals produced for animal products; meat, fur, skins, feathers, eggs, milk, honey
- Feeding, watering, catching, loading animals
- Maintain records on animals
- Examine to detect diseases/injuries
- Assist in birth deliveries
- Administer vaccinations, medications, or insecticides as appropriate
- Clean and maintain animal housing areas
- Shear wool from sheep
- Collect eggs in hatcheries
