A program of the Wyoming Department of Workforce Services, Wyoming’s free Quality Pre-Apprenticeship Programs (pre-apprenticeships) prepare you for a strong, successful entrance into a registered apprenticeship program—and the career you’ll earn the skills and certifications to enter once you complete it.

Delivered online through Wyoming’s own Innovation Wyrkshop—and made possible by a grant from the Wyoming Innovation Partnership—you can start any pre-apprenticeship program as soon as you’re ready, and continue to move at your chosen pace from there.
You’ll start by creating a Maker Access Pass account, then choosing your county from the map and enrolling in the specific pre-apprenticeship program you want to pursue.
Once you’ve enrolled and signed in, go to the Home page, then scroll down and click on the icon for “Pre-Apprenticeship Pathways.”
From there, you can choose your program and start learning right away.
You can also complete a Construction pre-apprenticeship in the form of a high-school Career and Technical Education course. For details, click here.

Once you’ve completed your pre-apprenticeship, click here to send your completion certificate to the Wyoming Apprenticeship Team and get information about next steps.
